FAQ

Aesthetic Injections + Wellness Treatments

  • What are Anti-Wrinkle Injections (Botox)?

Botox, Dysport, Letybo, and Xeomin are Health-Canada-approved neuromodulators designed to temporarily reduce the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines. These treatments relax the targeted muscles while preserving the natural look and movement of your face. In addition to wrinkle treatment, Botox can also be used for conditions like excessive sweating, migraines, jawline slimming, and TMJ pain (Bruxism).

    How Does Botox Work?

Botox works by temporarily relaxing the muscles into which it’s injected. When injected, the targeted muscle is unable to contract, which prevents the skin from creasing and softens the appearance of existing wrinkles. Botox also helps prevent new lines from forming, making it a versatile treatment for facial and body concerns.

    Who Should Avoid Botox?

Botox is not recommended for individuals with:

    • A history of keloidal scarring

    • Neuromuscular disorders (e.g., myasthenia gravis, Bell’s palsy, multiple sclerosis)

    • Allergies to product components (e.g., bee stings, cow’s milk, or Dysport)

    • Pregnancy or breastfeeding

How to Prepare for a Botox Injection?

To minimize bruising, avoid alcohol, aspirin, and any medication or supplements with anticoagulant effects (such as omega fatty acids) for 3-7 days prior to your treatment. Always consult with your healthcare provider before discontinuing any medication.

    What Happens During Botox Treatment?

Your journey begins with a consultation to discuss your aesthetic goals and the areas you’d like to treat. You’ll complete a health questionnaire, and we’ll review post-treatment care. Botox is then carefully injected into targeted muscles to prevent contraction and minimize the appearance of wrinkles.

    Botox Dosing

The number of Botox units required depends on factors like age, gender, anatomy, and individual physiology. Typical doses for various areas include:

    • Horizontal Forehead Lines: 10-20 units

    • Glabella (Frown Lines): 20-40 units

    • Lateral Brow Lift: 3-5 units per side

    • Crow’s Feet: 8-16 units per side

    • Bunny Lines: 4-6 units

    • Upper Lip Lines: 4-10 units

    • Masseter (Jawline Slimming): 20-30 units per side

    • Chin: 8-10 units

    • Neck: 20-30 units

    • Hyperhidrosis (Excessive Sweating in Underarms): 50 units per underarm

    • Trapezius (Shoulders): 30-50 units per side

    What Happens After Botox Treatment?

You may start noticing visible results within a few days of your first treatment, with optimal results visible after 2-4 weeks. The effects typically last 3-4 months, after which touch-ups are recommended to maintain your refreshed appearance.

    Post-Care Instructions for Botox Injections

To maximize the benefits of your Botox treatment and ensure optimal results:

    • Avoid touching or massaging the treated area for at least 4 hours after the procedure.

    • Do not lie down for 4 hours post-treatment.

    • Avoid facial treatments, including laser services, for at least 10 days after Botox. Consult with your provider if you’re unsure about the timing of other services.

    • Limit strenuous activity (e.g., heavy lifting, vigorous exercise) for 24 hours to ensure the Botox stays concentrated in the treatment area.

    • Avoid alcohol and blood thinners before and after treatment.

Results typically begin to take effect within 4-7 days. If you’re not completely satisfied with the results after 2 weeks, you may need additional Botox for the desired outcome.

  • What is Dermal Filler?
As we age, the skin loses volume due to the natural breakdown of tissues and the slowing of regenerative processes. This often results in fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin. Dermal fillers, especially those containing Hyaluronic Acid (HA), are designed to restore lost volume and smooth visible signs of aging. The results are immediate, with fillers enhancing the lips, cheeks, chin, jawline, under eyes, and marionette lines.

How long does the treatment last?
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) fillers are a temporary solution, with effects lasting between 6 and 12 months, depending on the area treated and individual factors.

    Does Dermal Filler hurt?
Our premium dermal fillers are formulated with lidocaine, a local anesthetic that minimizes discomfort. For added comfort, we also offer a topical anesthetic cream before the treatment to numb the area, ensuring the process is as comfortable as possible.

    Who should avoid Dermal Fillers?
Hyaluronic acid fillers should not be used by individuals with active autoimmune diseases (like lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, mixed connective tissue disease, or Hashimoto’s thyroiditis) or severe allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis or bee/wasp sting allergies.

Fillers are also contraindicated in people with a history of recent infections, such as urinary tract infections, sinus infections, skin infections, or dental abscesses. If you’re currently on antibiotics, you should wait until the treatment is complete before having HA filler injections.

Please avoid vaccinations 2-4 weeks before your appointment. If you have a history of cold sores, consult your healthcare provider for an antiviral pre-treatment.

Precautions Before and After Dental Visits:
Dental procedures (including tooth whitening, bleaching, and scaling) should be avoided 2-4 weeks before and after filler treatment.

How do I begin my journey with Dermal Fillers?
Begin your aesthetic journey at IMAGE Skin + Co. with a complimentary consultation. Together, we will create a personalized treatment plan to address your specific needs and goals.

How to Prepare for Dermal Filler Injections
    7 days before your treatment:

    • Eat fresh pineapple to promote healing.

    • Consider taking Arnica for 2-4 days before treatment and 2 days after.

Things to Avoid Before Dermal Filler Injections:

    • Blood thinners, such as ASA or NSAIDs (Advil, Aleve), seek approval from your healthcare provider.

    • Alcohol, especially red wine.

    • Foods and supplements like dark chocolate, grapefruit, fatty fish, fish oil, omega-3s, Vitamin E, St. John’s Wort, ginkgo Biloba, garlic, or ginseng.

    • Women should be aware that the week before their menstrual cycle may increase sensitivity and bruising.

    • Avoid strenuous exercise 2 days before and after treatment.

    • No air travel for one week post-treatment.

    Post-Treatment Care

    • Avoid excessive movement or massaging of the treated area unless advised by your provider.

    • Refrain from vigorous exercise for 24 hours after treatment.

    • Avoid makeup for 24-48 hours to prevent infection.

    • Avoid sun or heat exposure for 72 hours.

    • Sleep on your back with your head elevated to help with swelling.

For bruising and swelling, continue using Arnica, which should be started 2 days prior to treatment. If swelling, redness, or bruising persists or is excessive, contact your provider immediately.

    Post-Treatment Medications and Supplements:
Avoid over-the-counter blood thinners such as Aspirin, St. John’s Wort, or high doses of Vitamin E for one week post-treatment, unless approved by your healthcare provider.

  • What are Fat Dissolving Injections?

Fat Dissolving Injections are a non-surgical treatment designed to reduce stubborn fat under the chin. These injections use deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body that helps break down fat. The result is permanent, with the fat cells eliminated and unable to store fat again.

Additionally, Lipolysis injections can be used off-label to target other areas of stubborn fat, including the lower belly, flanks, bra fat, back fat, above the knees, upper arms, and under the buttocks.

How Long Do the Results Last?

Once the fat cells are destroyed, they are gone for good—meaning your results are permanent. There’s no need for maintenance treatments or follow-up injections once your sessions are complete.

    When Will I See Results?

Most clients begin to notice visible improvements after 12 weeks, or at least after two sessions. Maximum results typically appear 4 to 6 weeks following your last treatment.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

For optimal results, we recommend 2-3 sessions spaced 2-4 weeks apart. Depending on your individual needs, up to 6 treatments may be required.

How Do I Begin My Journey with Fat Dissolving Injections?

Embark on your aesthetic transformation with us at IMAGE Skin + Co. Start by booking a complimentary Injectables + Wellness Consultation. Our expert team will craft a personalized treatment plan to address your specific goals.

    What Happens During the Treatment?

Before your treatment, a topical numbing agent will be applied to minimize any discomfort. The number of injections needed will vary depending on your individual circumstances and treatment goals.

    Pre-Treatment Instructions

To ensure the best results, please follow these pre-treatment guidelines:

    • Avoid blood-thinning medications such as ASA, NSAIDs (e.g., Advil, Aleve), and consult with your healthcare provider before stopping any prescribed medication.

    • Refrain from consuming alcohol, especially red wine, before your treatment.

    • Avoid foods and supplements that can affect your treatment, such as dark chocolate, grapefruit, fatty fish, fish oil, omega-3 supplements, Vitamin E, St. John’s Wort, Ginkgo Biloba, garlic, or ginseng.

    Post-Treatment Instructions

    • Some swelling and mild discomfort may occur after your treatment. Most clients experience some heat in the treated area—an ice pack for 10-15 minutes can help relieve this.

    • Although less invasive than surgery, you should expect mild to moderate downtime, generally lasting 2-5 days.

    • Stay hydrated—drink at least 3L of water to help flush the fat from your system.

To maintain your beautiful results, return to IMAGE Skin + Co. for regular treatments. Book a consultation today to find out if Kybella is the perfect solution for you.

  • What is a Skin Booster?

A Skin Booster is a luxurious treatment designed to enhance your skin’s hydration, texture, and radiance. It involves the use of injectables containing a bespoke blend of hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. This powerful serum is carefully infused into the skin's superficial layers using a 24K gold-plated micro channeling device. The result? Rejuvenated, plump skin that targets fine lines and crepey texture—issues that traditional fillers don’t address—without the downtime of microneedling. Experience the ultimate in skin revitalization.

    What is a Custom Micro-Infusion?

A Custom Micro-Infusion is a premier, non-invasive treatment that uses a sterile, 24K gold-tipped device to infuse medical-grade serums into your skin. The custom blend may include hyaluronic acid, micro Botox, vitamins, and even PRP to hydrate, plump, and rejuvenate your complexion. This treatment revitalizes your skin, leaving it glowing and refreshed, without the need for the recovery time typically associated with microneedling.

All treatments are provided by IMAGE Skin + Co.

  • What are PDO Threads?

PDO (Polydioxanone) Threads are a non-surgical treatment used to lift, tighten, and rejuvenate the skin. These medical-grade threads are made from a biodegradable material and are inserted into the skin to stimulate collagen production. PDO Threads create an immediate lift and a gradual improvement in skin texture and tone over time, offering a natural and long-lasting solution for sagging skin, wrinkles, and facial contouring.

    How do PDO Threads work?

PDO Threads are inserted into the skin using a fine needle. Once in place, the threads gently lift the skin and stimulate collagen production, which helps restore volume, smooth out wrinkles, and improve the skin's overall appearance. The threads dissolve naturally over time, but the results continue to improve as collagen production increases.

What are the benefits of PDO Threads?

    • Lifts and tightens sagging skin

    • Reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines

    • Stimulates collagen production for long-term skin rejuvenation

    • Non-invasive with no need for general anesthesia

    • Minimal downtime and quick recovery

    • Ideal for the face, neck, and body

What should I expect during the treatment?

PDO thread treatments are typically quick and minimally invasive. The procedure usually takes between 30-60 minutes, depending on the area being treated. During the treatment, your practitioner will assess your skin and strategically place PDO threads to achieve your desired result. A local anesthetic may be applied to minimize discomfort.

What kind of results can I expect?

The results of PDO Threads are visible almost immediately, with a noticeable lift and smoother skin. However, the full effect continues to develop over the following weeks as collagen production is stimulated. For the best results, you may notice improvements in skin texture, tone, and elasticity over the next 2-3 months. PDO Threads can last anywhere from 12 to 18 months, depending on the area treated and the individual’s skin.

    Is the treatment painful?

PDO thread treatments are well-tolerated by most patients. While some discomfort may occur during the insertion of the threads, a local anesthetic is used to minimize pain. The sensation is often described as mild pressure or slight discomfort rather than pain.

Who is a good candidate for PDO Threads?

PDO Threads are ideal for individuals looking to address mild to moderate skin sagging or those seeking a non-surgical facelift. They are suitable for people in their 30s to 60s who are experiencing the early signs of aging, such as drooping jowls, wrinkles, or loss of skin elasticity.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

There is little preparation required for PDO thread treatments. However, it’s recommended to avoid blood-thinning medications, such as aspirin or ibuprofen, for at least a week before your appointment to reduce the risk of bruising. It’s also best to arrive with clean skin, free of makeup or skincare products.

    Post-Treatment Care

    • Avoid touching or massaging the treated area for 24-48 hours.

    • Refrain from strenuous exercise, heavy lifting, or extreme facial expressions for 1-2 weeks.

    • Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures, such as saunas or hot showers, during the first few days post-treatment.

    • Keep the treated area clean and follow any aftercare instructions provided by your practitioner.

How many treatments will I need?

The number of PDO threads needed will vary depending on your goals and the area being treated. Typically, one session is sufficient for noticeable results, but some individuals may require additional treatments for more dramatic lifting. For optimal results, a maintenance treatment may be recommended every 12-18 months.

    Is there any downtime?

Downtime is minimal, with most patients returning to their normal activities immediately after treatment. Some swelling, redness, or bruising may occur, but this typically resolves within a few days. Mild soreness may be felt in the treated areas, which is normal and should subside within a week.

Do I need to follow a skincare regimen before receiving treatment?

Yes. All new clients must be on a full skincare regimen curated by IMAGE Skin + Co. before receiving advanced skincare services. For more details, please refer to our FAQ about our full skincare regimen.

I have acne. Which treatment should I book?

Start by scheduling a Clear Skin Consultation, where we will evaluate your skin and determine if you're a candidate for our Clear Skin Program, designed to treat acne effectively.

How often should I receive skincare treatments?

For optimal results, we recommend scheduling treatments every 4 weeks, as this aligns with your skin's natural life cycle. Your skin regenerates every 4 weeks, and regular treatments help to remove dead skin, unclog pores, and maintain a radiant glow.

For acne treatments, it’s typically advised to book sessions every 2-4 weeks, as determined by your corrective skincare therapist.

  • Skincare Concerns & Customization

We understand that each person's skin is unique. That's why your skincare regimen is tailored specifically to your needs. During your initial consultation, our expert corrective skincare therapist will craft a personalized treatment plan, including a skincare routine designed to address your concerns. As you progress in your skincare journey, your regimen may be adjusted to ensure you achieve your desired results.

What is a full skincare regimen?

A comprehensive skincare regimen includes medical-grade products, carefully selected for their effectiveness in addressing your specific needs. This regimen typically includes cleansers, toners, multiple serums (depending on your unique concerns), moisturizers, masks, and SPF protection.

Please note: All clients must follow a complete skincare regimen to qualify for advanced skincare services.

I’ve had skincare treatments at other clinics and didn’t need to prep. Why is this different?

Our treatment policies are designed with your skin's health in mind. While other clinics may have different approaches, we prioritize safety and effectiveness. Our treatments are advanced, and preparing your skin properly ensures maximum benefits while minimizing any risk of damage.

Why is a full skincare regimen necessary?

A customized skincare regimen, combined with daily use of SPF, plays a crucial role in maintaining healthy, youthful skin and preventing signs of aging. Consistency is key—it not only prepares your skin for advanced treatments but also enhances and prolongs the results of those treatments.

The initial investment for a custom skincare routine begins at $350+, depending on your specific concerns. This investment is designed to ensure you receive the highest-quality products and results, with long-lasting benefits.

At IMAGE Skin + Co., we proudly offer a wide selection of medical-grade skincare products that work synergistically to keep your skin radiant and healthy.

  • What should I apply to my face on the day of my appointment?
On the day of your treatment, we recommend cleansing your skin, applying a nourishing moisturizer, and finishing with a broad-spectrum SPF. Please arrive makeup-free for facial treatments to ensure optimal results.

For Laser Treatments, simply cleanse your face and apply SPF. Post-treatment, SPF will be provided for your skin’s protection.

    Will I see immediate results?
You may notice instant improvements following your treatment. However, the full benefits typically reveal themselves 5-7 days after your session and can last between 21-28 days. For sustained results, we recommend scheduling your next treatment in 4 weeks. Be sure to book ahead to maintain your skin's glow.

Can I wear makeup after my treatment?
We advise waiting 24 hours before applying makeup to your skin post-treatment to allow it to fully absorb and heal. For microneedling clients, makeup can be worn 72 hours after your appointment, but it’s best to give your skin some time to rejuvenate.

  • What is Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH)?

Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation, or PIH, occurs when the skin produces an excess of pigment, leading to dark marks or brown spots on the surface. This condition typically arises after skin inflammation or injury, such as acne or trauma.

Why Are Dark Skin Tones More Susceptible to PIH?

Melanocytes, the skin cells responsible for producing pigment, are more active in individuals with darker skin tones. This heightened pigment production makes the skin more prone to developing hyperpigmentation. Additionally, melanocytes in darker skin are especially sensitive to trauma or sun exposure, increasing the likelihood of PIH in these individuals.

Why Do Some Treatments Have PIH as a Potential Side Effect?

Certain aesthetic treatments, particularly ablative lasers and photo facials, can be difficult to control in terms of depth and precision. This lack of control can damage the epidermis, the upper layer of the skin where melanocytes reside. As a result, individuals with darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick Type IV-VI) are at a higher risk of developing PIH after these treatments.

Can I Undergo Microneedling, Radio Frequency, Laser, and Chemical Peel Treatments?

At IMAGE Skin + Co., we prioritize safety for all skin tones. Our advanced technologies are specifically designed to be safe and effective for individuals of all ethnicities. Our skilled Corrective Skincare therapists will evaluate your skin and create a personalized treatment plan, tailored to minimize the risk of PIH. To achieve the best results, it’s important to follow the recommended skincare regimen diligently.

Preparing Your Skin for Medical Aesthetic Treatments

To ensure the best outcomes and minimize the risk of PIH, we recommend using Tyrosinase Inhibitors before undergoing treatments such as chemical peels, laser, or microneedling. Proper skin preparation is crucial to avoid PIH. All clients are required to be on a full skincare regimen before receiving medical aesthetic services to ensure the safest and most effective results.

We’re committed to helping you achieve your skin goals with treatments designed for every skin type and tone, and to protecting your skin’s health with expert care.

    Who is Dermaplaning recommended for?

How often should I get Dermaplaning?

For optimal results, we recommend booking your Dermaplaning treatment every 4 weeks to maintain a glowing, smooth complexion.

Can Dermaplaning be combined with other treatments?

    What makes HydraFacial special?

HydraFacial is unique because it uses individual tips for each treatment, making it the most hygienic hydra-dermabrasion system available today.

What happens during the HydraFacial treatment?

Only HydraFacial utilizes patented technology for cleansing, extracting, and hydrating the skin. The treatment consists of three steps, each designed to enhance your skin's glow:

    1. Cleanse + Peel: Gently exfoliate and resurface the skin to reveal a fresh layer.

    2. Extract + Hydrate: Use gentle vortex suction to remove dead skin and debris while hydrating with intense moisturizers, leaving the skin fresh and decongested.

    3. Fuse + Protect: Saturate the skin with antioxidants and peptides to boost radiance and protect the skin’s surface.

Why is HydraFacial good for me?

Hydration is the key to healthy, radiant skin, and HydraFacial is designed to deeply hydrate without causing irritation. Unlike many treatments that can increase signs of aging due to irritation, HydraFacial leaves your skin hydrated, calm, and glowing.

Am I a candidate for HydraFacial?

Yes! HydraFacial is suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive skin. Our expert skincare therapists will customize the treatment by selecting specific serums and adjustments to address your skin's unique needs.

What are the benefits of a HydraFacial treatment?

HydraFacial is highly effective at improving:

    • Fine lines and wrinkles

    • Uneven skin tone and texture

    • Brown spots

    • Enlarged pores

    • Oily or congested skin

What’s the difference between the Signature, Wet-Dermabrasion, Deluxe & Platinum HydraFacial?

    • Signature HydraFacial (30 mins): A quick yet thorough treatment that includes cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and hydration with nourishing super serums. Perfect for all skin types.

    • Wet-Dermabrasion HydraFacial (45 mins): Includes everything from the Signature HydraFacial with an added step of enhanced exfoliation, ideal for clients seeking deeper exfoliation, similar to microdermabrasion.

    • Deluxe HydraFacial (45 mins): Includes the Signature HydraFacial, plus customizable boosters and LED light therapy to target specific skin concerns like pigmentation or acne. Perfect for those looking for a tailored treatment with extra benefits.

    • Platinum HydraFacial (60 mins): This luxurious treatment begins with lymphatic drainage to detoxify and firm the skin. It includes all the benefits of the Deluxe HydraFacial, along with additional steps to promote circulation and improve skin tone.

    What is LED Light Therapy?

LED Light Therapy uses red and blue lights to stimulate collagen production. Red LED light improves skin firmness, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, and minimizes signs of aging. Blue LED light is especially beneficial for oily skin and acne breakouts.

LED therapy is included in both the Deluxe and Platinum HydraFacials, providing a soothing and effective way to enhance your skin's appearance.

Is the treatment painful? Is there any downtime?

HydraFacial is a comfortable, non-invasive treatment that requires no downtime. You can return to your normal activities immediately after the treatment, and you may even apply makeup right away.

How do I prepare for the treatment?

To ensure the best results, follow these steps before your appointment:

    • Discontinue the use of AHAs (glycolic, lactic, mandelic acids), BHAs (salicylic acid), tretinoin, retinoids, and benzoyl peroxide for 3 days before your treatment.

    • Avoid scrubs, waxing, or aggressive exfoliation one week before your session.

    • Limit direct sun exposure leading up to your appointment.

When will I see the results?

Many clients notice visible improvement after just one treatment, with skin appearing more refined and radiant. The effects can last up to 7 days or longer. For ongoing skin health and to improve fine lines, wrinkles, and other skin concerns, one HydraFacial per month is recommended.

How can I maintain my results?

To maintain and enhance your skin’s glow, we recommend joining our IMAGE VIP Program for monthly HydraFacial treatments at an exclusive rate.

  • What is a Chemical Peel?

A chemical peel is an advanced skin resurfacing treatment where a customized chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the outermost layers. This treatment improves skin tone, clarity, texture, and overall radiance, while addressing concerns like acne, hyperpigmentation, and sun damage. At IMAGE Skin + Co., your peel will be tailored specifically to your skincare needs, ensuring optimal results.

What Level of Chemical Peel Do I Need?

Chemical peels vary in depth, from gentle to intensive, allowing for targeted treatments based on your skin’s needs:

    • Level 1 – Light peel with moderate flaking and peeling.

    • Level 2 – Medium-depth peel with full peeling for more significant skin rejuvenation.

    • Level 3 – Targeted, medium-depth peel to address specific concerns such as acne or pigmentation, with full peeling.

What Is the Downtime for a Chemical Peel?

The peeling process typically lasts between 3 to 7 days, with skin continuing to heal for up to 14 days. After treatment, you’ll be provided with a post-treatment kit to support your recovery. For the best results, we recommend a series of 3-6 peels, spaced 4 weeks apart.

How Do I Prepare for My Chemical Peel?

Before your treatment, a skincare consultation is required to assess your skin and customize the peel. Your skin should be prepped with medical-grade products to maximize results.

    Here are key preparation steps:

    • Inform your skincare specialist of any medications (topical or oral), medical conditions, or treatments you may be undergoing.

    • Discontinue the use of AHAs (glycolic, lactic, mandelic acid), BHAs (salicylic acid), tretinoin, retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, and similar products at least 7 days before your appointment.

    • Refrain from scrubbing, waxing, or using aggressive exfoliants one week prior.

    • Minimize direct sun exposure in the week leading up to your treatment.

What Are the Contraindications for a Chemical Peel?

Chemical peels are not suitable for everyone. You should avoid this treatment if:

    • You have recently had laser treatments (within 1 week), except for Aerolase.

    • You are using Isotretinoin (Accutane) or have used it within the last year.

    • You are pregnant or breastfeeding.

    • You have a sunburn, atopic dermatitis (eczema), rosacea, or open wounds.

    • You are undergoing cancer treatments or have certain autoimmune conditions.

    • You have an allergy to aspirin or heart conditions (particularly with Jessner & Salicylic Acid peels).

    • You have had recent facial surgery or a history of keloid scarring.

    • You use black market bleaching agents (which can cause burns, scarring, or hyperpigmentation).

    Post-Treatment Instructions

    • Peeling will occur between days 3-7, with the skin continuing to heal until day 14.

    • Sun Protection is a must! Avoid sun exposure for 10-14 days, and always apply a mineral SPF daily.

    • Avoid intense physical activity, sweating, and exercise for 7 days to prevent hyperpigmentation from heat.

    • Makeup should be avoided for 3 days.

    • Do not use hot water on your face, and refrain from touching, rubbing, or picking at your skin, as this could lead to scarring.

What to Expect After Your Treatment?

Follow the personalized skincare instructions provided by IMAGE Skin + Co. to ensure the best results.

    • Day 1-3: Your skin may feel tight, dry, red, and slightly sensitive. A windburn sensation is normal, and redness may persist. As the skin heals, you may notice darkening in areas as old skin rises to the surface, which is part of the natural peeling process.

    • Day 2-7: Flaking and peeling will likely begin 2-5 days post-treatment. Your skin may feel dry, and mild itchiness is common due to increased skin cell turnover. Avoid picking or scratching at peeling skin. Let the skin exfoliate naturally while keeping it moisturized. Mild breakouts may occur, but these will resolve as the skin continues to renew itself.

To maintain your radiant results, schedule regular treatments with IMAGE Skin + Co. and book a consultation today to see if a chemical peel is right for you.

  • Who is this treatment for?

This luxurious peel is designed for all skin types, tones, and ages. It’s particularly beneficial for individuals with acne-prone, congested skin, or those struggling with hyperpigmentation and scarring. With minimal downtime, this treatment is ideal for clients with busy schedules or frequent social commitments.

    How does the treatment work?

This innovative peel works by gently dissolving the bonds between skin cells, allowing the top layer of skin to be removed and reveal a smooth, glowing complexion underneath. In addition to exfoliating, the peel stimulates collagen and elastin production, promoting skin renewal for lasting radiance.

Before your chemical peel appointment, you’ll need a skincare consultation to ensure your skin is ready. Your skin should be prepped with medical-grade products prior to treatment.

    • Avoid scrubs, waxing, or aggressive exfoliations one week prior to treatment.

    • Minimize sun exposure leading up to your appointment, ideally avoiding direct sunlight for 7 days before your service.

  • What is Collagen Induction Therapy (Microneedling)?

Collagen Induction Therapy (Microneedling) is a highly effective treatment that can be performed on any area of the body. It is designed to address concerns such as sun and age spots, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, melasma, loose skin, fine lines, wrinkles, and stretch marks. This treatment creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate collagen production, improving the texture and tone of the skin. It can be customized with treatments such as acne and brightening cocktails, PRP, or stem cells to target specific concerns.

    What is Liquid Microneedling?

Liquid Microneedling is a unique treatment that uses a customized blend of herbs, botanicals, plant stem cells, and marine extracts. These ingredients help stimulate collagen production while promoting skin healing. Much like traditional microneedling, it creates microchannels in the skin to trigger a natural inflammatory response, boosting cell turnover and collagen production. The result is healthier skin with reduced acne, hyperpigmentation, and more even texture, along with increased moisture retention.

    What is IMAGE Microneedling?

IMAGE Microneedling, or Collagen Induction Therapy, is an advanced resurfacing and rejuvenation treatment. Using tiny, sterilized needles, it creates micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production. This process helps regenerate new capillaries, which heals scars, reduces pigmentation, and tightens and strengthens the skin. At IMAGE Skin + Co., we use the SkinPen & DP4, Health-Canada-approved devices to ensure you receive the highest quality treatment.

    What is RF Microneedling?

Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling combines microneedling with RF energy to target deeper layers of the skin. This treatment uses bipolar RF energy at a specific wavelength to gently heat the skin's deeper layers, promoting collagen production and tightening the skin. The combination of microneedling channels and RF energy provides a precise and effective treatment to enhance skin rejuvenation.

    What is Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is a non-invasive procedure that uses micro-injections to deliver customized ingredients directly into the middle layer of the skin (mesoderm). It hydrates and repairs the skin while promoting healthy cell renewal. It is a Health-Canada-approved treatment and can be used to address a variety of skin concerns.

How many treatments will I need?

For optimal results, we recommend a series of 3-6 treatments, spaced about 4 weeks apart, depending on your specific concerns. You may experience mild to moderate flaking for 3-5 days following the treatment. Your skincare specialist will guide you in creating a personalized treatment plan.

    Does Microneedling hurt?

Most clients experience minimal discomfort during the treatment. A numbing cream is applied to the skin beforehand to ensure comfort. Liquid Microneedling may feel warm and slightly tingly. To make your treatment more comfortable, a fan will be used during the procedure.

Will I bleed during the treatment?

You may experience some redness and pinpoint bleeding during the treatment. This is a normal part of the process and will subside shortly after.

How do I prepare for my Microneedling, RF Microneedling, or Liquid Microneedling appointment?

To ensure the best results, please follow these preparation guidelines:

    • Inform your skincare specialist of any medications (topical or oral), medical conditions, or treatments you are receiving.

    • Discontinue the use of AHAs (glycolic, lactic, mandelic acids), BHAs (salicylic acid), retinoids, and benzoyl peroxide 3-7 days before your treatment.

    • Avoid scrubs, waxing, or aggressive exfoliation 1 week before your appointment.

    • Minimize sun exposure prior to treatment.

    • Reschedule if you have open wounds or active acne lesions.

    • If prone to cold sores, consult your doctor about taking Valtrex to prevent an outbreak.

    • Avoid anti-inflammatory medications (e.g., ibuprofen) for 3 days before your treatment to ensure the natural inflammatory response.

    Who should avoid Microneedling treatments?

Microneedling is not suitable for individuals with the following conditions:

    • Recent laser treatments (within 1 week)

    • Use of isotretinoin or Accutane (within 1 year)

    • Pregnancy or breastfeeding

    • Sunburn, atopic dermatitis (eczema), or open wounds

    • Autoimmune deficiencies (e.g., diabetes)

    • Cancer therapies

    • Active acne

    • History of keloid scarring

    • Use of black-market bleaching agents

    Post-Care Instructions for Microneedling

To ensure optimal healing and results, follow these post-treatment guidelines:

    • Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer twice daily for at least 7 days after treatment.

    • Avoid sun exposure for at least 3 days. If you must be in the sun, use SPF 30 or higher and reapply frequently.

    • Avoid heat (e.g., saunas, jacuzzis) and strenuous exercise for 72 hours.

    • Do not wax, expose your skin to the sun, or use exfoliants for 7 days.

    • Avoid dermal fillers or Botox for 2-4 weeks post-treatment.

    • Refrain from touching, picking, or rubbing the treated area.

    • Do not use active serums for 24-48 hours post-treatment.

What should I expect after treatment?

    Day 1-3:
Expect some redness, tightness, and dryness. This is normal and will subside. There may be mild swelling, especially if you had a more aggressive treatment. Bruising may occur if PRP was used, lasting up to 5-7 days.

    Day 2-7:
Flaking or peeling may begin 2-5 days post-treatment. This is a natural process as your skin renews itself. Do not pick or scratch the treated area—let the skin shed naturally. Mild acne breakouts may occur as your skin turnover increases.

    When will I see results?

You will begin to see visible improvements after 2-3 weeks, with optimal results appearing after a series of treatments. For continued skin rejuvenation, maintenance treatments can be scheduled every 4-6 weeks.

Book a consultation with IMAGE Skin + Co. to see if microneedling is right for you. Let us help you reveal your most radiant, youthful skin!

  • What is Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and How Does it Work?

PRP® Facial Rejuvenation, also known as the "Vampire Facial," is a natural, transformative treatment that rejuvenates your skin from within. Using your body’s own healing power, PRP stimulates collagen production, reduces pigmentation, minimizes inflammation, and accelerates skin regeneration. The result? Smooth, glowing, youthful skin that looks and feels revitalized.

PRP works by harnessing growth factors (proteins) that stimulate collagen production. This helps tighten and firm the skin, promoting a healthy, radiant complexion. The collagen-building process is gradual, meaning you'll notice continuous improvement in your skin's texture and appearance over the months following treatment. We recommend a series of 3-6 treatments, spaced 4 weeks apart, for the best results.

At IMAGE Skin + Co., we combine PRP therapy with advanced techniques like micro-needling or mesotherapy to deliver superior results for the face, body, and scalp.

    Where Can PRP Be Used?

PRP is highly versatile and can be used to rejuvenate various areas of the body. It's effective for the face, neck, décolletage, and other areas in need of revitalization. Specifically, PRP is beneficial for:

    • Acne scarring

    • Melasma & hyperpigmentation

    • Wrinkles & fine lines

    • Signs of aging

    • Scar revision

    • Dermal augmentation

    • Dark circles under the eyes

    • Stretch marks

PRP is the perfect choice for those seeking a natural, anti-aging solution to enhance their appearance and promote healthy, glowing skin.

What Happens During the PRP Treatment?

The process begins with a blood draw, which is then processed in a centrifuge to isolate the platelet-rich plasma. This concentrated PRP solution is then carefully applied to the treatment areas using various techniques for maximum effectiveness.

During the micro-needling treatment, we use the SkinPen, a Health-Canada approved device, to create tiny, controlled puncture wounds in the skin. As the microneedles create these micro-channels, the PRP is applied, allowing the skin to absorb the growth factors and start healing. This combination of micro-needling and PRP triggers the production of collagen and elastin, two essential proteins that keep skin firm and youthful.

PRP can be administered in several ways, depending on the area and your individual needs:

    • Mesotherapy – Micro-droplets of PRP are applied to the outer layer of the skin.

    • Microneedling – PRP is used as a serum during the treatment to enhance healing and results.

    • Micro-infusions – 24K gold-plated needles are used to infuse PRP into the skin for a more luxurious experience.

    • Cannula – This technique is ideal for treating delicate areas such as under the eyes or around the smile lines.

    • Deep Injections – For areas requiring more volume, PRP is injected deeper into the skin for gradual restoration.

Where Does Platelet-Rich Plasma Come From?

PRP is sourced directly from your body, making it a safe and natural treatment. At the start of your session, a small sample of your blood is drawn and placed into a centrifuge. This machine spins the blood at high speed to separate the platelets from the other components, creating a concentrated PRP solution.

The PRP is then carefully applied to areas that need rejuvenation, such as wrinkles, acne scars, or pigmentation spots. The PRP may be injected directly or combined with micro-needling or laser treatments to enhance its effects.

    PRP for Under-Eye Rejuvenation

PRP is particularly effective for addressing under-eye concerns, including dark circles and fine lines. By using a gentle cannula technique, we can precisely target the under-eye area, stimulating collagen production and improving skin texture. Over time, this promotes a more refreshed and youthful appearance, reducing the appearance of puffiness, dark circles, and hollows beneath the eyes.

How Many Treatments Do I Need?

For optimal results, we recommend a series of 3-6 treatments, spaced about 4 weeks apart. After your initial treatment series, we suggest routine follow-up sessions to maintain and enhance your results.

  • What is volume loss?

With age, facial volume deflates, caused by the degradation of healthy skin tissues and the slowing regenerative process. This leads to fine lines, wrinkles, volume loss, and lax skin.

    What are laugh lines?

As we age our skin naturally loses collagen and elastin, our cheeks can hollow out and the skin around them can start to sag. When this happens, wrinkles and lines often form in the space between our nose and mouth. There will often be shadows in these areas as well, further enhancing the appearance of the lines.

    Treatments for Loss of Volume

We offer several treatments that reduce the appearance of these lines and shadows while rejuvenating your skin and restoring a youthful appearance. These treatments can replace lost volume, plump your skin, and reduce the appearance of the lines.

Advanced dermal fillers and HA (Hyaluronic Acid) injectables help restore lost volume and reduce the visible signs of aging. The effects of filler are seen immediately. Dermal fillers can be used to volumize lips, cheeks, chin, jawline, marionette lines, and under eyes. During your consultation, our team will create a custom treatment plan to help you minimize the look of this volume loss and reverse the signs of aging.

    We offer several options including:

    • Derma Fillers

    • Botox for fine lines

    • Aerolase NeoSkin

    • Custom Skincare

    • Microneedling

    • PRP Mesotherapy

  • What Are Crow’s Feet?

Often referred to as laugh lines, crow’s feet develop around the eyes, producing an unwanted aging effect. As one ages, skin loses collagen and elastin, the lines can become deeper and more pronounced.

    What Are Forehead Lines?

By allowing our muscles in our face to contract, the result can cause lines and wrinkles on our forehead to form over time. As one age, these expressive lines deepen. Prevention is key, so starting early is best.

    What are Lip "Smokers" Lines?

Lip wrinkles, which are sometimes called lip lines, lipstick lines, or smoker's lines, are the little vertical lines that form on the lips of older adults. These lines are difficult to conceal. Getting rid of lip lines can easily take 10 years off your face.

We offer neuromodulators "Botox" to treat Hyperhidrosis, a relatively quick and easy rejuvenation treatment that significantly reduces sweating. The safe and effective treatment can be life-changing and extremely transformative.

  • What Are Age Spots?

As we age, areas (or spots) of our skin appear darker in pigmentation. Age spots can be caused by numerous factors, but the most common is prolonged sun exposure or exposure to UV rays. These age spots or sunspots are most often found on the face and hands.

  • What are Scars?

Scars form as part of the healing process after your skin has been cut or damaged. The skin repairs itself by growing new tissue to pull together the wound and fill in any gaps caused by the injury. People with dark skin (especially people with African, Asian, or Hispanic heritage), as well as red-haired individuals, are more likely to develop keloid scars. Not all scars require treatment, and many fades away over time. If a scar is bothering you or causing pain, treatments can help.

    What are Striae "Stretch Marks"?

Stretch marks (striae) are indented streaks that appear on the abdomen, breasts, hips, buttocks, or other places on the body. Anyone can develop stretch marks, but some factors increase your risk of getting them, such as family history, pregnancy, rapid weight gain or weight loss, etc. Stretch marks are not painful or harmful, but most do not like their appearance.

Age Related Concerns

  • Why is skincare important in my 20s?

Your 20s are a pivotal time for your skin. While you may not notice significant aging, environmental damage, stress, and changes in your body can leave their mark. Fine lines, sun damage, dark circles, acne (especially hormonal), scarring, and dullness can begin to appear. Taking proactive steps with your skincare routine now can help maintain youthful skin for years to come.

How do I know if my skincare products are still effective?

As you age, your skin's needs change. What worked well in your teens or early 20s may no longer be as effective as your skin matures. Oil production fluctuates, and exposure to environmental pollutants can lead to clogged pores and breakouts. Updating your skincare products to suit your skin’s current needs is essential for maintaining clear, radiant skin.

What role does sun exposure play in skin aging?

Excessive sun exposure, especially in your late teens, can show up in your 20s as dry patches, sunspots, and hyperpigmentation. This can be a result of the cumulative damage done by UV rays. To protect your skin, daily use of SPF is essential. This will not only prevent further damage but also help slow down visible signs of aging.

Why should I start preventative treatments now?

Starting preventative skincare treatments in your 20s is key to maintaining your skin’s youthful appearance. As collagen production decreases and water retention lessens, fine lines around the eyes or forehead may begin to appear. Preventative treatments such as hydration, collagen-boosting therapies, and SPF protection are crucial to maintaining a healthy, glowing complexion. The earlier you start, the better the results in the long run.

What treatments do you recommend for clients in their 20s?

    • Skincare Regimen: A personalized regimen based on your skin type and goals is the foundation of your skincare journey.

    • Aerolase Laser Skin Treatments: A revolutionary treatment that targets skin imperfections and rejuvenates the skin with minimal downtime.

    • Signature Treatments: Exclusive, high-end treatments designed to meet your unique skincare needs and achieve optimal results.

    • HydraFacial: A deep-cleansing and hydrating facial that delivers a glowing complexion by removing impurities and infusing your skin with nutrients.

    • Chemical Peels: Exfoliating treatments that help improve texture and brightness while targeting hyperpigmentation and acne.

    • Microneedling: A collagen-inducing treatment to rejuvenate and smooth the skin.

    • Preventative Botox: A treatment designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines before they become permanent.

    • Dermal Fillers: A non-invasive treatment to restore volume loss and enhance facial contours.

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to IMAGE Skin + Co., where we tailor each treatment to help you achieve your ultimate skincare goals.

  • As you reach your 30s, you may notice changes in your skin—fine lines, larger pores, and hyperpigmentation. These signs are often the result of not addressing your skincare needs earlier in life. Around this time, your body starts producing less collagen, causing the skin to become thinner, drier, and less elastic. This collagen loss contributes to the formation of wrinkles and the visible signs of aging.

What changes can I expect in my skin when I turn 30?

In your 30s, the effects of aging become more noticeable. Fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and a dull or dehydrated complexion often emerge. You might also notice a loss of volume in certain areas of your face and skin that no longer "bounces back" the way it used to. The decrease in collagen production is a major factor in these changes.

What is the goal of an anti-aging treatment plan?

A personalized anti-aging treatment plan focuses on preventative care while boosting collagen production to maintain your skin’s vitality. The goal is to slow the aging process, restore volume, and rejuvenate your complexion, keeping you looking fresh and youthful.

Recommended Treatments for Preventing and Addressing Aging Signs

At IMAGE Skin + Co., our goal is to help you maintain youthful, radiant skin through a range of luxury treatments that address your individual skin needs.

  • As we age, our skin undergoes natural changes that become more noticeable with each passing decade. The signs that first appear in your 30s – such as fine lines, dullness, volume loss, and dryness – become more prominent in your 40s, 50s, and beyond. Without intervention, these changes can intensify year after year, including deeper wrinkles, increased redness, and sagging.

    Collagen Loss

Collagen and elastin are the essential proteins that keep your skin firm, plump, and youthful. When we’re younger, our bodies produce these proteins in abundance. However, as we reach our 40s, collagen production decreases significantly, leading to visible changes in your skin’s appearance.

    Fine Lines & Wrinkles

With the reduction in collagen, fine lines start appearing around the mouth and eyes. As structural support diminishes, the skin begins to sag, and wrinkles become more defined, especially in your 40s.

    Volume Loss

Along with the loss of collagen, subcutaneous fat – the fat layer beneath the skin – also diminishes with age. Without this natural padding, the skin begins to sag, and jowls may form. Maintaining skin firmness and tightness becomes a priority as volume loss becomes more noticeable.

    Hydration, Texture & Tone

As we age, our skin’s natural radiance fades. Starting in your 30s, cell turnover slows, meaning dead skin cells shed less frequently, and fresh skin cells are slower to reach the surface. The result is a duller complexion that lacks vibrancy. Additionally, your skin produces less sebum, the natural oil that hydrates and protects it. As a result, your skin becomes drier, more prone to dehydration, and fine lines become more pronounced, revealing the signs of aging.

Treatments to Help You Age Gracefully

Our approach focuses on preventing visible signs of aging and helping you age gracefully, with treatments designed to restore your skin’s youthful glow and vitality.

    • Skincare Regimen: A personalized skincare routine can enhance skin health, boost hydration, and improve the texture and tone of your complexion.

    • Anti-Wrinkle Injections (Botox) : Botox treatments are ideal for addressing fine lines and wrinkles. These injections smooth out the skin and soften facial expressions, leaving you with a refreshed, youthful look.

    • Dermal Fillers: Dermal fillers are designed to restore lost volume in areas like the cheeks and under-eye area. They help reduce the appearance of sagging and volume loss, bringing a youthful fullness to the skin.

    • Aerolase Laser Skin Treatments: Aerolase treatments target a variety of skin concerns, including wrinkles, redness, and pigmentation, all with minimal downtime and discomfort.

    • Chemical Peels: Chemical peels are an effective treatment for exfoliating the skin, removing dead cells, and revealing a smoother, more radiant complexion.

    • PRP, Mesotherapy & Microneedling: These treatments work together to stimulate collagen production, reduce fine lines, and improve overall skin texture. PRP uses your own platelets to rejuvenate your skin, while mesotherapy and microneedling deliver active ingredients deep into the skin for enhanced results.

    • Skin Boosters: Skin boosters deeply hydrate and improve the elasticity of the skin, restoring a youthful glow by replenishing moisture and nutrients at a cellular level.

    • Signature Treatments: Our signature treatments are designed to rejuvenate the skin with no downtime. They offer a luxurious, effective solution for those looking for a refreshed, glowing complexion without interruption to their busy schedule.

    • HydraFacials: HydraFacials are a favorite for delivering deep hydration, improving skin texture, and providing a refreshed, dewy appearance. This treatment can address a variety of skin concerns, including fine lines, uneven tone, and clogged pores.

At IMAGE Skin + Co., we believe in offering treatments that promote timeless beauty and encourage you to embrace each stage of life with confidence. Let us guide you in maintaining a youthful, glowing complexion for years to come.

  • Embrace Timeless Beauty: Aesthetic Treatments for Your Best Self

As we enter our 50s and beyond, our perspective on life shifts. What once was about discovery, transforms into embracing our true selves. It's the perfect time to focus on what brings you joy, including caring for your skin to reflect that inner radiance.

Changes You May Notice in Your 50s:

    • Sagging Jowls: Gravity takes its toll, causing the skin to lose firmness.

    • Enlarged Pores: Hormonal changes and skin aging make pores appear more prominent.

    • Weakened Skin: Thinning skin around the eyes, lips, and neck, combined with changes in hormone and pH levels, leads to a compromised moisture barrier.

    • Increased Sensitivity: Inflammation can make skin more reactive and irritable.

    • Visible Aging: Sagging, dark spots, crow’s feet, fine lines, and wrinkles may become more noticeable.

The Goal: Our treatments are designed to help you age gracefully by promoting collagen production and enhancing the health and appearance of your skin.

    Our Recommended Treatments Include:

    1. Anti-Aging Injections ("Botox"): Smooth fine lines and wrinkles for a youthful, refreshed appearance.

    2. Dermal Fillers: Restore volume and combat age-related volume loss for a plumper, firmer look.

    4. Chemical Peels: Reveal smoother, more radiant skin by exfoliating and removing dead skin cells.

Hair Growth Treatments

  • What is Alma TED?

Alma TED is a non-invasive, ultrasound-based system designed to address hair loss. It uses a proprietary Impact Delivery tip to provide a pain-free treatment experience. When combined with the Alma TED+ Hair Care Formula, which is packed with essential ingredients to support scalp health and strengthen hair follicles, TED helps improve the overall appearance of your hair.

This treatment results in thicker, fuller hair with added shine and strength, all without the discomfort or shedding often associated with other in-office hair restoration procedures.

    How does Alma TED work?

Alma TED utilizes acoustic sound waves and air pressure to anchor hair follicles while delivering active ingredients from the Hair Care Formula serum—such as growth factors, nutrients, and peptides—deep into the scalp for optimal absorption. This process is completely needle-free and pain-free, ensuring a comfortable experience.

What are the benefits of Alma TED Hair Restoration?

    • Stimulates and strengthens hair follicles

    • Reduces hair shedding and fallout

    • Encourages new hair growth

    • Uses acoustic sound waves and air pressure, avoiding needles or lasers

    • Non-invasive with no downtime or recovery

What should I expect during my treatment?

Alma TED is a quick, 30-minute in-office treatment. During your consultation, your practitioner will assess your scalp and create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.

What kind of results can I expect?

Clinical studies show that patients who undergo Alma TED treatments experience a 20-60% increase in hair growth in targeted areas. Within two weeks, many notice reduced hair shedding and the first signs of new growth. After one month, new hair growth becomes more noticeable, and by two months, patients report improved hair volume, density, and overall health. Three months post-treatment, many patients see reduced scalp visibility and less prominent bald spots.

    Is the treatment painful?

No, the treatment is not painful. Most patients report feeling a mild warm sensation and hearing a ringing sound throughout the procedure, but there is no discomfort.

Who is a good candidate for Alma TED Hair Restoration?

Alma TED is ideal for anyone experiencing hair loss due to genetic, hormonal, or stress-related factors, as well as those looking to improve the overall thickness and appearance of their hair.

Combining Alma TED with Other Therapies for Enhanced Results:

At IMAGE SKIN + CO. we may recommend combining Alma TED with other hair loss treatments like:

    • Mesotherapy: Injections of nutrients and growth factors directly into the scalp.

    • Topical Serums: Customized serums to nourish and stimulate hair follicles.

    • Vitamins: Oral supplements to support hair growth from within.

    • Shampoos & Conditioners to support a healthy scalp and growth.

What to Expect After Alma TED Treatment:

    • Reduced Hair Shedding: Within two weeks.

    • Early Signs of Growth: Within one month.

    • Increased Hair Volume: Within two months.

    • Fuller Hair with Less Visible Scalp: Within three months.

GroTrack Camera Monitoring: Track Your Progress Scientifically

We utilize the GroTrack hair analysis system to monitor your progress objectively. This advanced technology captures high-resolution images of your scalp, providing precise data on hair density and growth over time.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Please wash your hair the night before or the morning of your TED treatment. Avoid using any leave-on creams, lotions, or oils on your scalp prior to the appointment. Arrive with a clean, dry scalp for the best results.

    Post-Treatment Care

    • Refrain from tight braids, buns, lace glue, or excessive heat/chemical treatments.

  • What is the Hair Growth System?

The IMAGE Skin + Co. Hair Growth System is a revolutionary approach to promoting natural, healthy hair growth—without surgery or hormonal side effects. Our system includes:

    • In-clinic hair treatments

    • A home hair restoration system

    • Specialized vitamins

Using PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) or stem-cell microneedling treatments alongside our at-home system helps reactivate dormant hair follicles, encouraging a more youthful and active hair growth cycle.

    What is PRP Hair Treatment?

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy is a scientifically proven treatment for hair thinning and hair loss. A patient’s own blood is drawn and processed to extract growth factors and nutrients, which are then injected into the scalp to stimulate hair growth.

Hair thinning can be caused by stress, aging, and genetics. Multiple sessions (4-6 treatments) are typically needed to see noticeable improvements in hair volume and density. PRP is also an excellent option for those who have previously undergone hair transplants.

You may not be eligible for treatment if you have any of the following conditions:

    • Skin conditions, blood disorders, or liver disorders
