The 3rd step in our 4-Step System is to BALANCE the skin’s moisture levels with hydrators, emollients & occlusive to maintain the feel of improved skin smoothness, firmness, and resiliency.

Hydrators are also known as humectants, they draw moisture from the surrounding environment into skin cells & plump it. Key ingredients in hydrators are Hyaluronic acid, Aloe, Lactic acid, Glycerin, Snail Mucin, etc.

Pro Tip: Apply gel to the palm and use fingers to press gel into the skin. Hydrator must be applied to wet skin to draw moisture into cells or cells will become more dehydrated. Use hydrating toner mist before applying if needed.

Moisturizers are oil-based ingredients, including occlusive agents, such as petrolatum or mineral oil, and emollients like esters and plant oils.

They work by creating a seal on the surface of the skin that prevents trans-epidermal water loss They also make the skin feel smoother and less dry. Key ingredients in moisturizers are shea butter, various oils, lanolin, Arnica, etc.
